Since the mid-1990s, the monastery complex, which with its baroque architectural style is one of the last in Europe, has been renovated and restored to its original state. In the summer months, the already restored monastery garden invites to a varied cultural program with concerts and exhibitions. The facility: "holy grave" and the associated depot have been air-conditioned by equipment from the HANSA Free Line series since their renovation in 2011.
For these renovation measures, the Brandenburg Chamber of Architects and the Brandenburg Chamber of Engineers, under the patronage of the Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Planning, awarded the special prize within the framework of the Brandenburg Building Culture Prize 2015 for the Neuzelle Abbey - "Heavenly Theater" Museum.
