Economic cooling solutions
In addition to mechanical cooling with suction throttle or bypass control, we achieve even more cost-effective refrigeration in applications with variable partial load operation with speed-controlled or digital scroll compressors.
When using a control system with bypass or suction throttle control, the components of the refrigeration circuit are designed for the maximum required refrigeration capacity, even though the refrigeration system is operated with reduced refrigeration capacity for most of the time it is used. Partial load operation is then energetically unfavourable.
On the other hand, when using an inverter control (speed control), the compressor is designed so that its optimum operating range is within the range of the cooling capacity that is mainly required.
etaCool can also be used for heat pump applications. In so-called reversible refrigeration systems, the integrated refrigeration system can be used for cooling in summer and heating in winter.
If the refrigeration system is used for dehumidification, a so-called reheat condenser is recommended. Part of the condenser heat is used for reheating. It doesn't get any more efficient than this!
